The Nigeria Centre for Disease control (NCDC) made the announcement in tweets on Friday night.
"11 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria. 8 in Lagos, 2 in Enugu and 1 in Edo state" the centre tweeted.
"As at 11:55pm 27th March, there are 81 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 3 have been discharged with one death.
This announcement brings the number of confirmed cases in the country to 81.
Out of the 81 confirmed cases, Lagos has 52, the Federal capital territory (FCT) 14, Ogun three and Too three.
Edo, Bauchi and Enugu states have two cases each while Ekiti, Osun and Rivers state have one case each.
